Stiktek was founded in 2001 by Sam & Dave, two theater techs in Orlando.
Think of Stiktek as a sort of “Dilbert” for theater people. He is your everyman and he wants you to see things from his point of view backstage.
Dave started drawing his Stiktek cartoons backstage on the call board every morning during the stage setup.
As time passed, everyone grew to love the guy (Stiktek, not Dave) and Sam saw the endless possibilities that Dave did not.
What started with a simple design on a tee shirt created exclusively for crew members turned into a full fledged company.
Sam and Dave still work out of their garage but Stiktek has been all over the country where students and theater people have been introduced to his style of humor.
This blog will be a sounding board for theater news, humor and stiktek cartoons.

Hello,
What are the chances of getting a stage manager t-shirt with a chicktek on it. I think it would be great if it said “STANDBY” on the upper left chest on the front and “Go!” on the back above the Chicktek with a podium. Just my thoughts. Thanks!
